
Joshua Cole (Dip.C, Dip.MhPsych, MBACP)
Specialist Practitioner
Joshua is a specialist practitioner and trained therapist who works with those diagnosed with personality disorder. He is the founder and chairman of the registered charity BPDWORLD; this charity is one of the only resources available for those affected by personality disorders. In addition to running the charity BPDWORLD, Joshua is also an independent practitioner and as such works as a care coordinator attached to social services, has a private therapy practise, and works as part of a team on a low secure psychiatric hospital. He is also a tutor and author for several distance learning nationally accredited Diploma courses, mainly around the issue of personality disorders. Throughout the past three years, he has enjoyed success in a variety of areas – an example of which having successfully organised international conferences on Personality Disorder. He has appeared on Dr. Raj Persaud's BBC Radio programme "All in the Mind", BBC Television and completed a documentary on borderline personality disorder, investigating the theories, causes and treatments, with groundbreaking interviews. To further cement his interest in Borderline Personality Disorder, He recently wrote a book, entitled “No One Knows, The Story of the Secret Survivor” (www.secretsurvivor.com).
